China Southern Airlines Co. Ltd. is a main air transportation business of China Southern Air Holding Company.

Heilongjiang, Jilin, Northern, Shenzhen, Xinjiang and Zhuhai Helicopter Company. Four holding subsidiaries are located in Guizhou, Shantou, Xiamen and Zhuhai with 21 domestic sales and ticket offices situated throughout China, including Hangzhou and Shanghai.
As China’s largest airline, China Southern Airlines has 43 International offices located in major metropolitan markets around the world, including: Amsterdam, Los Angeles, Paris, Singapore, Seoul, Sharjah, Sydney and Tokyo.

Currently, China Southern Airlines operated more than 300 modern Boeing 777, 747, 757, 737 and Airbus A330, 321, 320, 319 and 300 jet aircraft serving more than 600 domestic and International routes with destinations to 142 cities throughout China, regionally and throughout the world, with 49.2 Million passengers carried in 2006 … forming an extensive network, with Guangzhou and Beijing as its hubs, covering all of China with convenient connections to Australia, Europe and the United States.
In 2006, China Southern Airlines carried 49.21 Million passengers, ranked as the largest airline in China for 28 consecutive years - based on annual passenger traffic volume. The airline is now firmly positioned as one of the world’s Top 10 passenger airlines, the only carrier in mainland China so honored. As of the end of 2006, China Southern Airlines had achieved more than 3 Million safe flight hours and was honored the Three-Star Safety Award by the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China (CAAC) – the current most prestigious award in safe flight operations in the Chinese aviation industry.
China Southern Airlines places the highest priority on safety and flight reliability.
The airline owns and operates its own independent pilot training centers for pilots and flight attendants. China Southern Airlines, with more than 3,300 comprehensively trained and experienced pilots, is the only Chinese carrier that has the independent capability of “building its pilots from the ground up” as it trains young aviators at its Western Australia Flying College in Perth … then moves these graduates to advanced cadet training at its Zhuhai Flight Training Center, a joint venture with Montreal-based CAE Inc.
China Southern Airlines enjoys a strong aircraft maintenance capability through its joint-venture company GAMECO - Guangzhou Aircraft Maintenance & Engineering Co. Ltd. - ranked as one of the Top 12 aircraft maintenance companies in the world. In addition, China Southern Airlines has invested millions in its IT systems, operating a state-of-the-art System Operations Control Center (based at the new Baiyun International Airport) which is capable of using Global Positioning Technology to closely monitor the flight operations of 1,200 daily flights. China Southern Airlines has earned two second prizes in the National Science & Technology Progress Award, one for its System Operations Control Center and the other for its Engine Performance Monitoring System.
In 1995, 2001, 2003 and 2004, China Southern Airlines was honored by the CAAC with the “Golden Roc Cup” – the previous most prestigious award in the Chinese aviation industry.
