Tyloon, Inc. Becomes a Proud Member of the Yellow Pages Association
Los Angeles, CA Tyloon, Inc., the El Monte-based internet company which created and runs Tyloon.com, is pleased to announce it has been officially accepted as a member of the Yellow Pages Association (YPA).
Tyloon.com
is a true multilingual “local search
engine and online yellow pages” allowing easy access to over 15-million U.S.
companies in English, Spanish, simplified Chinese, and traditional Chinese (or a
mixture of these). Previously this enormous
American business database could only be explored in English.
Merchants subscribing to
Tyloon will not only have their contact information listed but can also display
their product/service details—as well as publish additional content, including
blogs, press releases and job offers—in single or multiple languages, in
order to target main stream as well as niche markets at the same time.
“Tyloon, Inc. is now in the
final stage of fine-tuning its China local search platform, the first ever of
its kind, so that 12-million China businesses can be searched in English,
Spanish, Chinese, Chinese spelling, and mixed words,” said Grace Su, CEO of
Tyloon, Inc. “It is expected that Tyloon China will officially be published
within a few weeks and will hopefully become a major multilingual commercial
information bridge between U.S.A. and China.
“Given the fact that 52% of the
population of Southern California is Spanish-speaking—plus our state has the
largest Chinese community in North America—the possibilities and benefits
for consumers and businesses are exceptional. It is our goal to form a
‘partnering’ relationship with our community that results in the
creation of an entirely new platform for commerce through improved access to
multilingual communication, resulting in mutual success for everyone involved. “Becoming a member of the
Yellow Pages Association enables us to take advantage of the YPA’s world-wide
network of information helping us contact
CMR
communities (Certified Marketing
Representatives) as well as locate CMRs
to increase Tyloon’s ad sales. We will receive positive publicity and exposure
as a member of the Yellow Pages Association through their PR initiatives and
monitoring activities,” said Grace Su. “YPA should be the best possible
partner for us in helping to grow our business in the United States and globally.” Originally founded in 1975
as the
National Yellow Pages Service Association (NYPSA), the Yellow Pages
Association (YPA) is the trade organization of a print and digital media
industry valued at more than $26 billion worldwide, with members in 29
countries. Association members include Yellow Pages publishers who produce
products that account for almost 90 percent of the Yellow Pages revenue
generated in both the U.S.A. and Canada. Members also include the industry's
international, national and local sales forces, certified marketing
representatives (CMRs) and associate members. Please contact Victoria
Chang, PR Manager, Tyloon, Inc. for additional information.
