The large display on the unit shows the voltage level of the power system. When the engine is on, the reading should be between 13.0 to 14.9. when the engine is off, the reading should be between 12 to 12.9. The CPB provides an easy and confident check for the power system! The plastic wrap over the unit keeps water or moisture from it therefore please do not tear off the plastic wrap during installation. Since the unit is so light and small, it can be stick onto a chosen surface around the battery with the supplied double sided tape.
