Description

Common carriers are those who offer to the general public to carry persons or goods and who are generally bound to accept anyone who tenders the required fare. Common carriers have a statutory duty to use the utmost care and diligence in the safe carriage of passengers. Failure on the part of the carrier to meet the foregoing standard of conduct is negligence.
