Because of the uniqueness of the location at the entrance of El Centro and near the city border, the surrounding properties have thrived into a major retailing district that not only provides the new residential communities nearby with their everyday shopping needs but also caters to visitors from the bordering city – Mexicali with an estimated population of over one million people. Cruickshank Dr and Bradshaw Dr will be completed on the north and south of the El Centro Town Center, and they are expected to be through streets connecting to 8th street in the east.
